Having grown up with artistically inclined individuals my entire life, I know quite well what motivates a person to become a professional artist. Surprisingly, that motivation has been made public in the following piece of art from a series of works by Wilhelm Staehle, who decided to reveal this industry secret:

Sometimes there's no difference. I had a friend that was a life-drawing model, and the course instructor made some "interesting" requests for poses.
