Welcome!Ven. Dr. Chuen Phangcham

The Windsor Meditation Group (WMG) is a non-profit organization located in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, that has been meeting for Dhamma talks, meditation instruction and practice since 1998 in our small "hut", aka home.

Our first teacher (Ajahn) was the Venerable Dr. Chuen Phangcham, the Abbott of The Midwest Buddhist Meditation Center (MBMC) in Warren, Michigan.  Please visit www.mbmcmichigan.org to get information about current events at the center.

Sadly, Ajahn Chuen, passed on July 10, 2008.  It was an honour to know him, and we are thankful that he wanted to serve the Windsor Meditation Group and its members in all the ways he did.

"Take care of the people", that was Ajahn's wish.  Meditation instruction and practice will continue.

Activities

Meeting Time:  Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Our meetings consist of a short Dhamma talk, meditation instruction and practice.  There are opportunities for discussion and questions.  Chairs and cushions are available.  All are welcome.

Languages:  English.

Style:  Informal.
