Vincent Franzoi was born in Windsor, Ontario in December of 1986. His artist mother, Denise, was one of his first teachers and continues to be an inspiration for him today. He studied art while attending Holy Names High School and later studied drawing at St. Clair College and visual arts at The University of Windsor. His professional art career began in 2006 and he has enjoyed a warm reception by collectors in the Windsor and Detroit areas. Since making his work available to th public, Franzoi has sold over 150 pieces of original art, many of which have been commissioned.
His work is on currently on display in his own gallery as well as Fahrenheit Restaurant, Paula's Gallery and Gourmet Emporium. Franzoi has enjoyed a number of shows including one at Cobo Hall in Michigan where a three of his pieces were bought by Cobo Hall and hang in their executive offices. The Pelissier Street Gallery has also hosted several of his shows in Windsor. He plans shows in other parts of Ontario and Michigan in the near future.
Vincent Franzoi's work is generally colourful and inspired by music and experimentation. He wants his work to be original and likes not knowing exactly what the end product will be when he starts a project. His work is designed to be controversial and Vincent welcomes both positive and negative feedback. His style is always changing but he predominantly works in acrylics on canvas and cement sculptures.
The art is highly affordable and ranges in price from as little as $100 to $3500 for larger and more elaborate pieces. Franzoi welcomes commissions and currently about eighty percent of his work is created in response to clients' requests. Franzoi is an artist to watch and whose work should increase in value as his career progresses.
