The
Scout Uniform
|
The Scouts
Canada uniform represents a history of involvement, of association with
a set of principals, of helping others, and of fun, adventure, activity, and
learning by doing. Your uniform identifies you as a member of the
world's largest youth organization.
Listening to its youth
members, in 2003 Scouts
Canada introduced new options for uniform. Adopted by the Court
of Honour and the Troop in April 2003, the new uniform options include
uniforms for both formal and activity events. Youth and their parents
will decide on the option(s) best suited to them.
For uniform, our Troop
wears the formal uniform for one meeting every month. For the
remaining meetings, youth may wear their neckerchief and a Scouting T-Shirt
(either one of the activity shirts, or one of our own Troop shirts).
For other activities, the appropriate uniform or activity wear is specified
as required.

formal events. |
