Fall Outdoor Skills
Camp 2002 November 22-24, 2002 - Valens Conservation Area As the weather began to take a turn for the colder, we set out to do what we do best - Camp! Our Fall Camp was held on the weekend of November 22-24, 2002 at Valens Conservation Area in Flamborough. Once again, the camp was a full, fun program of activities geared towards helping the new Scouts earn part of thier Voyager level Outdoor Skills Badge. Continuing the tradition from last year, this camp was run as a Patrol Camp, and was planned in partnership with the Court Of Honour. PL's and APL's helped train the Scouts in fire lighting, compass work, and first aid knowledge needed for outdoor activities. The weekend wrapped up with a hike around the conservation area, and a night came comprised of searching the woods for the elusive Scouter Phil!!!!!!
