One of the requests that has come back to the leaders for a few years now is that the Scouts wanted to go on a Ski trip. This year, through the efforts of PL Cory of the Falcons and Scouter Paul, we arranged our first ever Ski and Snow Tubing Trip. For this event, 13 Scouts, Scouter Bill, Scouter Paul, Mrs. Joy, and Scouter "Lead Foot" Liz traveled up to the Snow Valley Ski Resort near Barrie. Needless to say, a good time was had by all, making this an event we are sure to repeat in years to come. What was great about Snow Valley is that not only did they have some excellent Ski runs, but they also have one of the best Snow Tubing parks in Canada. This gave everyone in the Troop, even non-skiers like Scouter Bill, the chance to come out and join in on a fun day!
