Discover your brand is an exciting event on March 10, 2011 at 6:30PM in the Turret Hawk's Nest. The event will include a 3-course meal, presentations, and networking opportunties with CEO's and Alumni with careers in Financial, Managerial, and Environmental Consulting, Accounting, and Sales & Marketing.
The event tickets will cost $10 for members and $15 for non-members. To pick up your tickets now, or if you have any quetions, feel free to contact Nicolas Crimi at nicholas.crimi@laurierconsulting.com. Or stop by the LCC booth in the Peters Foyer in the days leading upto the event.

Laurier Consulting Club Case Team

*NO previous case experience is required, not having case experience will not hurt your application*
-What is the Case Team?
The team is comprised of individuals interested in honing case competition skills & networking. We plan on sending teams to various case competitions of their choosing and providing assistance.
- What are the time commitments?
We expect team members to attend one general practice a month & to do prep for their own competitions as they see fit. We require that members compete in at least 1 competition per semester to remain on the team.
- What kind of cases will be done?
We plan on offering members the ability to compete in all functional areas of business.

Royal Roads International Undergraduate Case Competition 2011 - March 17th-19th

Are you looking for an opportunity to demonstrate your analysis, presentation and strategic thinking skills? The Royal Roads International Undergraduate Case Competition provides you with the format to do just that, while giving you the chance to meet like-minded students and network with employers from all over the world!
This competition takes place at the Royal Roads University Faculty of Management in Victoria, BC. It hosts 15 schools and challenges teams with realistic strategic management cases.
The competition this year will be held over the course of three days (March 17th-19th, 2011). Teams will analyze and present three separate cases, with the three winning teams moving on to a final case. Case topics vary and each team will be given three hours to compile a recommendation and a twenty-minute presentation.
We are looking for enthusiastic and driven members to join the Wilfrid Laurier team. All interested students are encouraged to fill out the form here and email it to wluroyalroads@gmail.com by Friday October 29th at 12:00pm. LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

The Laurier Consulting Club will be hosting its first general meeting next Tuesday, September 21st at 8PM in STM125. The meeting will include an information session to let you know what the Laurier Consulting Club has to offer this year including our Partners-in-Training Program, Volunteer Consulting Program, industry events and more. This will be followed by an interactive case study where you will get meet and work with LCC executives and general members . It is a great chance to meet the LCC executive team, ask us your questions and get involved!

Welcome to the Laurier Consulting Club. We hope you are excited for the upcoming school year as we have many great events and initiatives taking place as we launch a Clubs Wiki in collaboration with SBESS for SBE Clubs and our Volunteer Consulting Program begins work with its first clients! We will also have our usual socials and case meetings.
We will have a booth this upcoming September at O-Day to give you the opportunity to come meet the executive team and see what LCC has to offer you.

March 15th 2010 [11AM-1PM @ KPMG Atrium]: LCC & LAA PRESENT: Accounting Beyond Auditing
The Laurier Consulting Club and Laurier Accounting Association have partnered up to bring to you ICAO speakers for a Lunch & Learn in the KPMG Atrium. The goal of this event is to highlight options for CAs beyond traditional accounting roles. There will be four representatives from ICAO in attendance in great roles. The one of most interest to consulting students is a Senior Consultant at Deloitte. Come grab a free bite to eat and meet experienced professionals!
March 31st 2010 [6PM-8PM @ Paul Martin Centre]: LCC PRESENTS: An Evening With The Canadian Association Of Management Consultants
The Laurier Consulting Club has been working very hard to bring this fantastic event to Laurier SBE students.
Doors will open at 6PM for keynote speeches from the Canadian Association of Certified Management Consultants (CMC).

The interactive case workshop on March 2nd went really well and we thank those who came out.
The "Get Hired, Today!" Interview & Resume workshop on March 9th was a huge success. A special thank you to our special guest, headhunter, Tom Sinclair (CA and CMC), who lead our session. Also, thanks to those who came out. We hope you picked up some useful tips! Good luck with the job hunting.

Our first social, case workshop, company profile, and Business Source discussions have gone very well. Thanks to everyone who was able to come out.
