Frequently Asked Clogging Questions

Question

Answer

Do cloggers wear wooden shoes?

No, we wear leather soled jazz oxfords or any other comfortable shoe with a sole that you can nail into.

What kinds of music do cloggers dance to?

You can dance to any kind of music!  Pop, Country, Rock, Fiddle, you name it.

What should I wear to clogging?

Wear comfortable clothes.  Don't wear tight clothes or you won't be able to move, and don't wear clothes that are too loose to avoid any dance related "wardrobe malfunctions".

Jeans and a T shirt are perfectly acceptable!

What age should my kids be before learning?

The earlier the better!  All we ask is that you register them, and be aware that no child under the age of 14  may attend without a parent or guardian present.

Is there an age limit to the club?

No!  No matter what your age, clogging is for you!  And we can teach you!

Are The Skyway Cloggers a competitive club?

No, we are just that, a club.  Competition is great, but having fun is more fun!  Lots of exercise, laughs and a ton of fun for everyone.
