Although there used to be a class association for the Tanzer 26, it is now largely defunct. There are rumours of a group of T26 owners in the Lake Ontario area interested in reviving the association, but nothing definite.

Fortunately, Tanzer 26 owners have the option of joining the Tanzer 22 Class Association as "Associate Members". The T22 Association is very active and has been going strong for close to 30 years!

This is a hospitable group that makes it clear that owners of other Tanzer models are most welcome to join their association. While associate members do not vote in the affairs of the association, they receive all other benefits and services provided to the regular members. This includes a subscription to the award winning Newsletter "TANZER TALK", a 12 page publication which appears bi-monthly, and which is full of valuable information and tips to make owning a Tanzer 22 more enjoyable (with lots of information applicable to all Tanzers). Also available from the T22 Association are five volumes of Newsletter Compendiums of about 100 pages each. They cover every conceivable item of interest to a Tanzer sailor and they have been described as "the best Owners Manual ever written for a sailboat".

The Associate membership fee for the Tanzer 22 Class Association is $20 per year.
