Photo retouching and photo restoration is very demanding work, also, it's fascinating. I have taken pictures that have been very battered and been able to restore them beautifully. I use Adobe Photoshop 6 to accomplish these little miracles, with great satisfaction. To restore a photograph, I will charge $20 per hour. The client pays shipping of the photo to me, if they don't have a scanner.
