Mark Siemons - Chair
I was born in Brockville and have worked and
lived in Kingston since graduating from Queen's.
My children and I have recently joined St. Paul
the Apostle Parish. It is an honour and a
pleasure to serve on St. Paul's Parish Pastoral
Council working with Father Leo. I look forward
to working with the other members of the
Council, enhancing the quality of parish life
and parish activity by facilitating growth of a
community united in faith, and witnessing to
gospel values within the parish and within the
everyday world of parish members. |

PATRICK THOMPSON - Vice Chair
Shortly after arriving in Kingston in 1994,
following relocation from Ottawa, our young
family started attending mass at St. Paul the
Apostle Church. We were inspired by the friendly
and sincere atmosphere which characterizes the
parish. Over the past fifteen years, St. Paul
the Apostle Church has been a refuge in both
good times and bad. While I have only recently
joined the Parish Pastoral Council, I have early
impressions about the positive impact this
council will have on my personal relationship
with God. In turn, I look forward to translating
this personal growth into opportunities where I
can give back to St. Paul the Apostle Church
community and beyond.

Mike Drewniak
I was born in Kingston and have lived here
my whole life. I'm a Queen's
University '91 Engineering Alumnus. My
wife Lisa and I have 3 children who enjoy
going to St. Paul the Apostle Church
attending children's liturgy and greeting
Father Leo with a hug as we go up for
communion. We are happy members of St.
Pauls where there is plenty of opportunity
to meet fellow parishoners and get involved
in many vibrant and meaningful activities.
I am a member of the Knights of Columbus and
have recently joined the Parish Pastoral
Council. Our family looks forward to
the future as we grow with St. Paul the
Apostle Church.

MIKE McKALE
Originally born in Ottawa, I moved to Kingston
in 1995. Shortly after moving to Kingston I
began attending St. Paul the Apostle Parish.
Immediately I felt welcome in both the Parish as
well as the Kingston community. More recently I
have taken part in "Catholicism 201" and look
forward to taking the "Alpha" course next fall.
After meeting with Father Leo to discuss being a
part of the Parish Pastoral Council and finding
out more about the Council's great work, I was
excited to become a part of it. I am thoroughly
impressed and inspired by the great work done
through the Council and the various other
ministries that serve our Parish. I am proud to
be a member of both the Parish community of
Saint Paul the Apostle as well as the Council,
and I look forward to serving the community as
we grow in faith and service to God.

(Liz) Dobbs
I have been a member of St. Paul the Apostle
parish since its beginnings at Archbishop
O'Sullivan School in the mid 1980's. My son
Matt, now an adult, received First Communion
and Confirmation with Father Leo and we've
grown together in our church. During times
of tragic loss, Father Leo and the
congregation of St. Paul’s were there to
support us. Being part of a growing faith
community is very special and I had the
privilege of being a member of the Parish
Council during the expalnsion plans for our
church in 2000 and beyond. It was a time
where true faith and spiritual leadership
got us through to where we are today with a
vision of Sharing our Faith and Building our
Future. In August, 2009 my husband Michael
and I celebrated the Sacrament of Marriage
together with all of our children. We now
attend St. Paul's together and enjoy
becoming more involved with the multitude of
activities and progams available in our
parish.
