  Accompanied by a delegation of supporters, Wayne described the scope of our project with the assistance of architectural drawings and sketches, responding to questions from the floor.

  Mayor Kathy Gastle voiced her approval and support of this worthy project and recognized the contributions of the Committee members in getting the venture to this phase.

  Regional Councillor John Day introduced two motions (see below) which were passed unanimously by the Council.

  Thank you Wayne and John for delivering, co-ordinating and securing the resolutions resulting from to-nite's presentation!

And Whereas St. Andrew's United Church, a non-profit organization, is proposing to create affordable seniors and transitional housing on a portion of its property;

And Whereas there is a demonstrated need for a range of housing options for seniors in Halton Hills;

Resolution # 2

Whereas St. Andrew's United Church will be submitting an application to CMHC for "seed funding" to carry out a technical and financial feasibility study for seniors and transitional housing units on its property in Georgetown;
