The St Andrew's Mission and Outreach Ministry takes part in many different Fund Raisers and Special Events. Some of these are:
St. Andrew's United Church has formed many associations with a varied groups and organizations at home and abroad. Some of these organizations are listed below.
Through various formal and informal relationships within and outside St. Andrew's, we can provide you with opportunities for serving in the community.

The Bread Basket is open Wednesday and Saturday
mornings from 9-12. New volunteers are always welcome. For more information
about volunteering or about how to receive food please call 905-873-3368.
The Georgetown Hospital on occasion offers a Pastoral Training Course
for Lay Pastoral visitors. This is an ongoing concern in Georgetown.
The purpose for the training is, for people to learn about visiting
the sick and the elderly at the hospital as a volunteer service to
the community.
If you are interested and could spare a little of your time for this worthwhile cause, please contact the office.

Have you ever considered volunteering in palliative care?
V.O.N (Halton) is offering a training program to become a palliative care volunteer. Following the training you will be matched with an individual who has a life-threatening illness and will be asked to give 2-3 hours a week of support to that person.
