Property Resources

The property and building used by St. Andrew's United Church is owned and held in trust by the United Church of Canada. The property is located on the prominent corner of Mountainview Road and Sinclair Avenue in Georgetown, and covers just over 1 acre (0.4 ha) including a paved parking lot for more than 60 cars.

The building comprises a 2,300 sq-ft (167 sq-m) sanctuary, capable of seating 300, and fellowship hall / office built in 1985 and a 1,800 sq-ft (167 sq-m) auditorium with Christian Education centre below, built in 1974.

With the addition of the Residences of St. Andew's we now have a shared elevator that makes our facility accessible on all levels.  The kitchen off the auditorium has recently been renovated and certified by the Halton Regional Health Department.  Our basement has been refurbished and 2 small meeting rooms added.

There is no mortgage remaining on the buildings or property and a major asset is the capital investment fund established with the proceeds of the sale of the manse in 1998.

A major asset is the Capital Investment Fund in the amount of approximately $200,000 established with the proceeds of the sale of the manse.
