Transportation

Georgetown is strategically located on Highway 7 near 3-major 400-series highways 401, 407 and 403. Easy access exists to the QEW. These roads provide entry to both Canadian and US markets and services.

The CN main line runs through Georgetown and passenger train service is available through VIA Rail, Amtrack and GO.

Bus transportation is available via the GO bus providing linkages to Guelph, Brampton and Toronto including significant university and community college linkages in those areas.

Air transportation is just 30-minutes away at Toronto's Lester B. Pearson International Airport or the John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport located at Mount Hope just 50 Km. to the South.

Major shipping channels are accessible through the ports of Toronto and Hamilton.
