History

Below is a condensed version of what has
happened at this site since it was first posted in June 1999
(with the most recent changes first):
- June 13, 2010. OK, I've finally updated things after my Ph.D.
- May
15, 2009 - The
website is still in "coasting
mode". When I am done my Ph.D.,
I'll try to update everything on
the site.
- September
13, 2007 - The
website has been in "coasting mode"
for a while during the time that
I have been working on my Ph.D.
Wendy is also back to school, so
there has not been much time to
do my website hobby. Will try to
add a few new items as they happen.
- March
19, 2004 -
Completely redesigned the look
of the site and transferred
it to our new cable internet
provider's server (Cogeco).
Old (iSTAR) site pages were
replaced by metatag links to
the new location; removed some
of the pages and revised the
text on almost all others.
- September 7, 2001 - major
overhaul of the site - removed frames and changed
the graphic appearance
- December 6, 2000 - fixed
some of the navigation problems experienced by Internet
Explorer (it was my inexperience with Frames that caused
it...)
- December 4, 2000 - the site
was completely revised with all the content updated
; our first attempt at frames was made (let us know
what you think...) and hopefully this will make the site
easier to use; All new family photos added, and an update
was made to the Family tree to include Parker, and Adam
now has his own page.
- August 30, 2000 - Parker
has arrived safely!
- July 12, 2000 - We finally
have a picture of Wendy on this site!
- Mar. 29, 2000 - We are
pregnant!! See our Baby page and send us your baby name
suggestions.
- Jan. 18, 2000 - Corrected
a number of bugs on the pages; added the navigation buttons
to the top of most of the pages; split the Stained Glass
page into two, since some browsers were not able to download
all of the images properly.
- Aug.16, 1999 - First major
update of the site - I got a new computer - what can
I say! Added are: a new colour scheme (easier to see?),
better navigation controls (I made some buttons...), a Recipe
page, my Camera Collection, tons of Family Tree information,
and a number of new pictures (including a new stained glass
project)! Gone are those animated 'gifs' - especially that
pulsing red line that originally reminded me of the Cylons
from Battlestar Galactica (oops, I guess that one shows
my age...).
- June 23, 1999 - first
attempt at posting a website to the 'net'. Lots of 'under
construction' stuff. Sorry!
