About
Rovers
Rovering is a part of the Scouting movement designed for people aged 18 to 26. The motto of Rovering is "Service," which is what we offer to the community around us. We go camping, attend moots (large gatherings of Rovers), and generally have a lot of fun! You need not have been in Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, or Venturers to be a Rover. The outdoors is an essential part of the Rover program. Rovers often participate in adventurous activities like mountain climbing, white water rafting or sailing. Rovers also help their local communities by running service activities such as food drives, park clean-ups, and tree plantings. Rovers meet in a group called a crew. Rovers develop and manage their own program under the mentorship of a respected advisor. Rovers adhere to a promise and motto. The Rover Promise: The Rover Motto:
