The Teachers

I'm afraid I was not a very good student, but I do realise that the math I learned from Bill Abrams has stood me in good stead for many years - I use it daily in my job (and I always used to say "but what good will it do me when I've left school", "what do you mean - if you have 8 oranges and I take 9 away!!!!"),. English courses introduced me to Dickens, Orwell, Golding, and Shakespeare (though I can't say I'm still keen on him), and apart from Old Will, I still read all of them fairly regularly, especially Dickens.

The list of teachers remembered also continues to grow... though I'm having a bit of trouble remembering their nicknames!.... and isn't it funny how many are still called Mr. - I'm sure they all had first names! Many of these are taken from a few photocopied pages of the old school magazines.... so far, we have:
