This register is a static site, and different to, and separate from, the Mailing List which is now part of the Yahoo domain. The Mailing List, which is a dynamic (well, occasionally dynamic) forum run along the lines of most other Mailing Lists. To sign up with the mailing list visit the Alsop Yahoo Site. If you do not already have a Yahoo I.D., you will need to apply for one and then join the group. You do NOT have to read the mail on-line, but can have them forwarded individually to the email address of your choice.
Any problems or questions about joining the Yahoo List would be best directed to Ian Pritchard, the `listowner' - over to you Ian
Over the years the Mailing list has been running, it has generated some interesting discussions on topics such as The Herb Shop and Walton area, various teachers and their merits (or not), the new changes the school is undergoing, The Old School Tie and our Woodwork/Metalwork projects,etc.... join in, and have your say!
Most of the photographs of the area around the school (including those linked to above) are housed at Brian Griffiths Excellent web site. Brian has also posted
four of those long photographs which were taken in 1960, 1963, 1966 & 1970- several of the listees have been
identified - see if you can spot someone you know and then let the list know. Yours truly is on the bottom
picture of the 1966 set, back row, 12th from the left.... now I know what the teachers meant by `sullen'!.
Brian is in the top photo, front row, second from the left.
The idea of the page is to try and bring together, on the Internet, the former pupils and staff from my old school, Alsop High School, in Liverpool, England - we have been around a lot longer than any of the Reunited sites, and there's no charge!.

The Collegiate has now joined us - but what about the other Liverpool schools - or the girls schools, Blackburne House, Queen Mary etc..... there must be some of you out there?
We've been emulated by one non-Liverpool school at least - Park Hall School, Castle Bromwich, Birmingham, run by John Griffiths in New Zealand
Once more.... to include your name in the Alsop Register, please leave me an email here. I shall reply, and will include your details asap.
