"...And all was silent" was recorded in 1994 in the small
Beowulf studio used mainly for the owners funk and R&B project. Because
of our tight economic situation and our inexperience at the time, we opted
to go with it. Looking back there are obviously things we would do quite
differently today, but nonetheless, we are still very proud of "...And
all was Silent". Musically this album offered a blend of medieval and renaissance
type melodies combined with trancy percussion and rythms sounds. Lyrically
the concept was occult and esoteric, dealing with the legendary Necronomicon
and the Grimmoires of high ritual magic from the late middle ages.
We used very basic equipment. The entire album was produced
and performed on a Korg WO1 Workstation with built in sequencer and was
recorded in 2 days.
