STIMERS  Genealogy

This is my 15+ years of research on the Descendants of  Jacob Stimers and Catherine Light.
Jacob and Catherine came to live in  Thurlow Township, Hastings County, Ontario, near Belleville, about 1800 from Dutchess County, New York State. They had a family of three sons and three daughters, most likely born in Dutchess County.

The information given here is mainly on the descendants of two sons, Jacob and Isaac, as the third, Abraham, had no known issue.  All I know of the daughters, is what was in Surrgate Court Records concerning Abraham's estate.

I will also be including other family lines that connected with the Stimers families that I have researched.
