Tears Of A Hero
As
Robert watched the aftermath of the events of September 11,2001 unfold he felt
compelled to paint this picture entitled "Tears Of A Hero".
When he discovered that some of the firefighter's from his
home town would be travelling to New York City to deliver donations he wanted
his painting to be delivered as well. He approached the fire fighters and asked
them to sign the back of the painting as well as deliver it. They were honoured.
A
plaque was then added to the frame with the inscription
"Artist Robert Semark presented by firefighters of Belleville Ontario, Canada."
The painting is now hanging in New York City in Rescue 1.
