Welcome
to
our
Christmas
page!
Once
again
the
end
of
another
year
has
come
far
too
quickly.
However,
we
welcome
this
time
of
the year
as
incentive
to
make
contact
with
our family
and
friends
and
to
remind
them
how
much
we
value
and
love
them.
So,
to
our
family
and
friends
far
and
near,
a
very
warm
welcome;
stop
awhile;
light
a
candle
and
know
we
love
you
and
we're
happy
you've
dropped
in.
While
reflecting
on
2006
it
seems
we
were
always
busy
but
never
overwhelmed
with
any
part
of
our
lives,
therefore,
making
us
think
we
are
doing
a
good
balancing
job.
The
furthest
we
ventured
away
from
home
this
year
was
in
February
for
a
cold
but
fun
few
days
to
the
Quebec
Winter
Festival.
Having
lived
in
the
same
neighbourhood
for
forty
three
years,
and
very
comfortably
with
the
same
neighbour
to
the
right,
it
was
a
bit
unnerving
when
she
made
the
decision
to
sell.
We
now
have
a
lovely
young
family
next
door
and
our
concern
has
faded.
This
summer
we
spent
more
time
enjoying
our
own
garden
and
community.
The
walking
and bicycle
paths have
been
extended
in
our
area making
it
easy
for
us
to
access
them
so
we
enjoyed
a
lot
of
biking
and
walking.
Since
spring,
summer
and
fall
are
our
favorite
seasons
we
spent
a
fair
amount
of
time
at
Graham’s
cottage
on
Eels
Lake.
Very
hot
weather
over
the
summer
made
for
good
times
by
the
water;
however,
I
unfortunately
chose
the
‘record
breaking’
hottest
days
to
invite
a
couple
of
friends
for
a
girl's
time
out.
We
were
a
bit
wilted
but
had
a
great
time.
The
cottage
was
also
the
place
for
a
family
get-to-gather
to
celebrate
and
acknowledge
several
special
birthdays,
anniversaries
and
some
great
achievements
this
year.
We
have
had
to
admit
that
our
passions
have
made
for
a
good
relationship,
Roger
is
passionate
about
his
woodworking
projects
and
spends
a
lot
of
time
in
his
workshop
and
I
am
passionate
about
my
computer
and
spend
many hours
in
my
office.
Roger
is
getting
rather
well
known,
locally
and
internationally,
for
his
Woolcombs.
I
am
hoping
to
be
able
to
share
my
skills
and
am
writing
a
beginners
computer
course
that
I
will
be
teaching
in
the
New
Year.
Roger
continues
to
enjoy
his
singing
and
has
just
participated
in
his
first
show
with
“The
Aces
of
Harmony
Barbershop
Singers”.
We
are
working
hard
to
maintain
good
health
and
to
keep
a
positive
attitude
in
this
somewhat
troubled
world.
Volunteering,
learning
something
new
each
day,
yoga,
gardening,
barber
shop
group
singing,
friends
and
lunch,
getting
out
for
a
variety
of
theatre,
short
jaunts
and
entertainments
all
help
make
life
enjoyable
and
good.
We
are
looking
forward
to
2007
for
a
bit
of
travel.
Our
hope
is
that
your
holidays
will
be
filled
with
the
songs
and
wonder
of
Christmas
and
whatever
brings
you
happiness,
may
it
be
yours!
