Our Focus

At Regional Analytics Inc. the word “region” is defined according to the client’s needs.

 Regional economic systems, large and small, share several characteristics, including:

§         a complex web of backward and forward linkages between local firms;

§         a complex web of linkages with firms and markets outside of the region;

§         a dependence on/vulnerability to shocks which are beyond the control of regional planning bodies, and;

§      a dynamic economic structure.

All of these characteristics influence the degree to which regional economies are affected, positively and negatively, by internal and external changes.

 At Regional Analytics Inc., we spend a great deal of time and energy on the accurate representation of the relationship between the components of the study economy and the broader economic system of which it is a part.

To do this, Regional Analytics Inc. relies on a blend of extensive research, primary data (acquired through the use of questionnaires and surveys), secondary data (e.g., Statistics Canada data), and state-of-the-art analytical techniques to produce useful and accurate reports.

At Regional Analytics Inc., each project is viewed as a challenge that we are eager to meet in serving the needs of the client.

We look forward to being able to help you with your regional economic planning problem.
