The purpose of this website is to provide individual investors with some
information about stocks that I'm sure aren't always considered when researching
and buying stocks. I know I have looked at information about stocks I am
researching and have gone to several different WebPages to find information, but
I didn't always know what I was looking at and what was important or how much of
it was calculated. So, here, I want to break down as much as possible the
calculations and terms to help people do their stock homework (or Due Diligence
(DD)) . The final intent is not to tell you whether to buy the stock or
not, but more to help you make more informed decisions on your stock
purchases. Having said that, this is not the only place you should go to
research a stock but I hope it is seen as useful and educational. I will
continue to add information as I can or is suggested (if possible of course).
The program I have created to generate the analysis generates the information
in a matter of seconds and reads data from income statements, balance sheets,
cash flows, and financial sites. The program is still very new and is
being tweaked all the time so the layout of the data will likely change often.
I would like to reference a book called Fire Your Stock
Analyst! Analyzing Stocks On Your Own written by Harry Domash for much of the
analysis topics displayed for each of the stocks shown.
Finally, the information and calculations are intended to be accurate but I
can't guarantee that. I will attempt to fix any errors ASAP but that may
require programming changes so it could take time. Also, any decisions you
make to buy or sell a stock are your own and I am not accountable for your
investing decisions.
