Humphreys Appraisal Services provides a full range of real property appraisals and consulting services. The firm strives to provide an excellent product along with the best level of service possible. Humphreys Appraisal Services is one of the largest and oldest real estate appraisal firms in the area. We are constantly monitoring the real estate market and maintain an extensive data base of I.C.I. and residential property sales throughout the Region. Our staff is well qualified and experienced to undertake the various analyses required to arrive at accurate estimates of value for all types of assignments.
Our main area of focus lies within the boundaries of the Hamilton-Burlington and District Real Estate Board covering the area between Lake Erie and Lake Ontario from Burlington to Grimsby. Our commercial, industrial, investment and residential work is focused within the Golden Horseshoe with particular emphasis on the City of Hamilton. We are also very active in the appraisal of sites located in the surrounding areas including the Regional Municipalities of Halton, Niagara, Haldimand-Norfolk and Waterloo and the Counties of Wellington and Brant. Occasionally, we find ourselves doing assignments outside this area. All our accredited appraisers are members of the Appraisal Institute of Canada and carry Errors and Omissions Liability Insurance.

Our main area of expertise is in commercial, industrial, investment and residential properties. We specialize in any assignment that could involve litigation. Appraisals and consulting services to assist in negotiations for compensation resulting from expropriation is a significant focus of our firm. We undertake assessment appeals, feasibility studies, market surveys and appraisals for the purpose of estimating value in-use, liquidation and insurance value of real property.
