From my point of view, Fate is a control mechanism for the weak. Fatewalkers, as I like to call them, allow themselves to float through Time and Reality without any struggle, without ever deciding an action for themselves, and never growing beyond their childish stages of human evolution. They are a waste to society.
I can give the zodiac credit for one thing though: Overall analysis of individuals. The day to day predictions are massively skewed, but analysis of lives on the whole tend to be reasonably accurate.
