In the name of God Amen. Be it remembered that I Louis Las way of the St. Louis County State of Missouri. Knowing th e uncertainty of live though being of good health and soun d memory, do pronounce and declare this to be my last wil l and testament in form and form following to wit. Firs t I ask and order if possible after my death for my body t o be buried in some Catholic yard. Secondly for all my jus t and lawfull debts to be paid. Third I give and grant t o every of my children the following sums to wit. To Marga ret the sum of one dollar, to Charles the sum of one dollar , to Joseph the sum of one dollar, to Oliver the sum of on e dollar, to Malinda the sum of one dollar, to Louis the su m of one dollar, to Henry the sum of one dollar, to Franci s Xavier the sum of one dollar, to Margaret Dosetta the su m of one dollar, to Octavia the sum of one dollar and the r emainder of my estate either real or personal property (fo r and a consideration of the love which I have for my belov ed wife, Suzanne, and for all her kindness and good cares , which she has towards me) for her said Suzanne, my belove d wife, to have and to hold said property, or properties wi ther real or personal for her own use and benefit; hereby r evoking or denying any other will by me made and I do prono unce my said beloved wife Suzanne Sole Administratorise o f my last will signed and sealed this seventh day of Marc h in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and forty-five.
