Charles Rageot

Charles Rajotte was born on February 22,1775 and married Francois
Hus-Cournoyer on November 5,1810 in Sorel. They had a family of five
children and four grew to adulthood. Today most of his descendants
still live in the Sorel area. The one exception was a grandson that
moved to Montreal about 1914. Charles died in Sorel on March 2,1850 at
seventy-five years of age and was the last one in this generation.
Francois died in Sorel from an accident in August of 1868. Charles is
is responsible for 5 family groups in this book.
Charles married Francoise Hus-Cournoyer.
