Taylor Art

Michael Taylor produces works in wood sculpture, mixed media, watercolour, etching , reduction prints and photography.

The late 19th century Arts and Crafts movement is an influence in his approach. You will sense his appreciation of Celtic forms in his sculpture. The etchings show a strong use of line and tone to offer mood and form. The reduction prints are bold and playful and like the watercolours, often depict local haunts in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties.
