Kingston's service is governed by a committee of the local Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) Board of Directors.

What are the benefits?
Well-balanced meals provide proper nutrition to help you stay healthy.
Provides regular contact with friendly volunteers.
What do the meals consist of?
Meal and dessert, containing at least 3 out of the 4 food groups from Canada's Food Guide.
Frozen meals, soups, and desserts can be ordered separately as needed.

Who is responsible for Kingston's Meals on Wheels Service?
An advisory committee that includes community
representation as well as a member of the Victorian Order of Nurses Board of
Directors assists with the direction of the program.
How are the meals delivered?
By screened volunteers from the community.
These volunteers freely give their time and use their own cars to deliver the meals.
Meals are transported inside insulated containers to keep them hot.
Delivery routes are kept short to ensure prompt delivery.
When do the meals come?
Meals arrive between 11am and 1pm.

The client and/or their family members are involved in the service plan.
The plan includes:
