q&a
Q: What's your favourite Skinny Puppy track/single? Why?
A: Dig It/The Choke (re-grip). Dig It is the first song/video I heard from them. Following this I had heard Assimilate, Killing Game, Hard-set Head and Tin Omen.
Q: What was your first album from them?
A: Remix Dys-Temper. It took me approximately 1 year to get into this remix cd and to buy their other albums... The next Puppy CD I bought was The Singles Collect, followed by Bites & Remission, 12" Anthology, Cleanse Fold and Manipulate, Back and Forth 5. Prior to all of these I believe I first heard Ogre on KMFDM's album (symbols).
Q: What original albums do you favor the most, overall?
A: I'm a sucker for classic puppy, never saw VIVIsectVI or Last Rights as the opus others did though. Top 5:
1-Bites and Remission, 2-Too Dark Park, 3-Cleanse, Fold and Manipulate, 4-Mind: The Perpetual Intercourse, 5-Last Rights
Q: What's your favourite music video?
A: Spasmolytic. I also like the Testure and Dig It videos...
Q: Song with the best lyrics?
A: Addiction--hands down.
Q: Most annoying tracks?
A: Stairs & Flowers, Tin Omen (as much as i like Ministry), Hardset Head.
Q: Best tracks from...albums?
A: Remission - Glass Houses & Smothered Hope Bites - Assimilate, Dead Lines, The Choke, Film, Last Call Mind:TPI - Three Blind Mice, Love, Antagonism, Dig It, Burnt With Water Cleanse, Fold and Manipulate - First Aid, Addiction, Shadow Cast, Epilogue VIVIsectVI - Dogshit, Harsh Stone White, Who's Laughing Now? Rabies - Rodent, Worlock, Choralone Too Dark Park - Convulsion, Spasmolytic, Rash Reflection, Nature's Revenge, Grave Wisdom, T.F.W.O., Morpheus Laughing Last Rights - Love In Vein, Killing Game, Knowhere?, Inquisition, Lust Chance, Circustance The Process - Candle, Cult, Blue Serge
Q: Favourite side-project?
A: ohGr... 'cause dOWNLOAD just needs more vocals ala Eyes of Stanley Pain--although Effector is pretty kickass.
Q: Favourite backing videos from TDP tour?
A: Choralone, Convulsion--evil, shocking as hell, very well done. Harsh Stone White--Altered States!, Dogshit--evil dead 2! woot!, Testure--animal testing = shocking, Worlock--Argento rocks!, Reclamation--just plain eerie and graphic/shocking.
Q: Creepiest-sounding album?
A: tie between Cleanse Fold and Manipulate & Too Dark Park. might i also add that the end of Ministry's The Mind Is A Terrible Thing to Taste can give me chills too. and i watch a TON of horror movies.
