Size - 20 to 35 mm.
On the wing - They are found on and off from May until September.
Range - Found in the Prairies and southern Ontario it is not as wide spread as the Northern Pearl Crescent.
Host plants - Asters.
Favourite habitat - Dry open areas.
Special notes - Adults can be found flying low to the ground in open areas visiting flowers, mudpuddling and sunning themselves.
