Green Comma
Size - 35 to 50 mm.
On the wing - April and May and then again in July through September.
Range - Coast to coast.
Host plants - Alder, Birch and Willow.
Favourite habitat - Forests and along clearings.
Special notes - Adults overwinter and feed on sap and dung.
