On the wing - June until the middle of July.
Range - Scattered from Manitoba to Newfoundland.
Host plants - Cranberries.
Favourite habitat - Bogs.
Special notes - As the name suggests you will find this tiny butterfly in bogs where cranberry grow. They overwinter as an egg which can withstand being submerged in water....even frozen.
