Size - 25 to 35 mm.

On the wing - End of June until the end of August.

Range - Primarily southern Ontario and Quebec. Scattered in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

Host plants - Oak, Walnut, Hickory and Butternut.

Favourite habitat - Woodlands.
