Size - 20 to 30 mm.
On the wing - July until September.
Range - Primarily Ontario to Nova Scotia. Yukon, B.C. and Alberta in the West.
Host plants - Sheep Sorrel or Curled Dock.
Favourite habitat - Open areas and woodlands.
Special notes - Similar to the Bronze Copper but much smaller and the more distinctive mottled forewing. As adults they visit goldenrod and other flowers.
