Common Roadside Skipper
Size - 20 to 25 mm.
On the wing - End of May until mid June
Range - B.C. to Nova Scotia. In the US it is absent from the western states.
Host plants - Grasses and oats.
Favourite habitat - Aptly named......along roadsides and trails in wooded areas.
Special notes - This fast flying Skipper spends it's time on the ground.
