 A Planetary Context: OerthOerth is a planet roughly the size of Earth, although it has two moons--Celene & Luna--instead of one. In our rather mundane Copernican universe, the Earth circles the sun. In the world of Living Greyhawk, the Oerth is the centre of the universe, and the sun, as well its moon and the other planets, circle around Oerth. Oerth is dominated by two continents--Hyperboria, far to the north, and Oerik, which lies astride the equator. Oerik is a massive continent by any standard--so large that the wisest sages of the Flanaess do not know what peoples might inhabit the furthest parts. To give you some idea of the size of Oerik, consider that the Flanaess, home to all of the regions that make up the Living Greyhawk campaign, is contained within the small box in the northeast corner.
