Hi! I was born many years ago in the city of Kitchener, Ontario and educated at St. Mary's High School. After high school, three friends and I went to the Big City of Toronto to become lab technologists at St. Michael's Hospital. Toronto was a real blast - I have a lot of wonderful memories of times there. Worked at St. Mike's in Biochemistry and the Hospital for Sick Children in chromatography research for a very short time.
The lab technologist profession was just too routine for me, so I came back to Kitchener and attended Stratford Teachers' College. Taught one year in Kitchener before getting married and moving to Hamilton and then finally to Stoney Creek, Ontario. There was never a dull moment in the classroom. After teaching for approximately 8 years, I stayed home until my two children were in high school. While at home I dabbled in a lot of different crafts: crocheting, knitting, macrame, candle making, rug hooking, cake decorating etc.
Then in 1982, I resumed stamp collecting along with the rest of our family. Shortly after this, a new addition entered our family. It was a computer. My husband bought a computer because at the time he used one at work. At first, I only used the computer for writing letters... the rest is history.
