My name is Janet 'Kubsie' Jenkins. My nickname is Kubsie because my maiden name is Kubisewsky and no one could pronounce it. I was born in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. I was raised in Kitchener where I attended Crestview Public School, Franklin Public School, Stanley Park Senior Public School, and Grand River Collegiate Institute.

After high school I started at the University of Waterloo for Math and Computer Science. In 1996 I met my husband to be, Ryan Jenkins. At the beginning of April 2002 we got a golden retriever named Algonquin (Quin for short). A week after that Ryan asked me to marry him. In August 2002 we bought our first house in Acton, Ontario. In 2005 we were wed at the Royal Canadian Legion in Acton. Quin was our ring bearer. In June 2006 I finally graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Mathematics.

Throughout all these years there were several parts of my life that were very important. They make up the links in the menu. I have been in Girl Guides and bowling since I was very young. I joined Scouting when I was older. The Pictures page has pictures of weddings, babies, and random family events. The links page is just a page full of links that I enjoy.
