101 Things  !

1. So, you want to know a bit about me, well from the picture above you might suspect I'm a pouter, not really, I just don't like having my picture taken.
2. I'm a wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, friend, volunteer and more.
3. I like teddy bears, butterflies, hummingbirds, dragonflies and even chipmunks.
4. I was incredibly shy as a child and still am a bit but no one believes me when I say that.
5. I have a brother and lost my sister June 26, 2009.
6. I was the youngest in the family.
7. I have been married to a great guy for 47 years.
8. My husband is an Aquarian and an Englishman.
9. I have two sons.
10. I was a stay at home mom.
11. I took college courses once my boys entered high school.
12. I studied psychology and sociology.
13. Self  improvement and spirituality are interests I pursue with seminars and continuing education classes.
14. I'm happy when spring finally arrives after the long winter and I can start biking again.
15. I do yoga.
16. I love chocolate.
17. I volunteered for a crisis phone line for almost 20 years.
18. I've been trained in effective listening and have been involved in training others.
19. I don't always listen effectively!
20. I have two granddaughters.
21. My heart aches for my oldest granddaughter, I hadn't seen or communitcated with her for 11 plus years until I recently found her on facebook.
22. I am addicted to my computer.
23. I continue to learn with Paint Shop Pro 7 and love it.
24. I love graphics and graduated two online PSP courses at Web Tech U.
25. I use Microsoft FrontPage to make my webs.
26. I know I've talked about my computer to my friends too long when their eyes glaze over.
27. I Watch the Ellen and Oprah shows.
28. Traveling over the years has been fun. I've visited England many time, France, Holland, Belgium, Luxemburg, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Italy, Brazil, Korea, Japan, 20 mainland US States, Hawaii and Mexico.  I've been in most provinces of Canada except the two most easterly and the northern provinces.
29. I like live theatre and movies.
30. I very seldom use a recipe and recently got rid of my recipe book collection.
31. My favorite dessert is cheese cake and I can make a mean one!
32. My home has many flowers and plants.
33. I fell off a horse once and I shy away from horses now.
34. I am downsizing and evaluating what I need.
35. I love the beach, walking the Florida beaches in winter is an awesome experience for me.
36. I've been towed off of the I75 when our Westfalia died.
37. I've ice skated and roller skated.
38. I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia.
39. I've lived on a farm.
40. I've flown by myself.
41. I like to paddle a canoe.
42. I'm a Leo.
43. I'm a brunette.
44. I've worn glasses since I was 9 years old.
45. I am a proud Canadian.
46. I was born and raised and still live in the same city.
47. I had a Pomeranian called Taffy for 17 years.
48. I advocated for people with Learning Disabilities for a lot of years.
49. I taught "Parenting the Learning Disabled Child" classes.
50. I wrote and taught a coping and management course for people suffering with Fibromyalgia.
51. I formed and lead support groups for Fibromyalgia sufferers and their families.
52. I like getting senior discounts.
53. I drive a car.
54. I've learned to say no and not feel guilty.
55. I take digital pictures with a Canon PowerShot A70
56. I don't like housework much anymore.
57. A single long stemmed red rose is a favorite.
58. I love sunsets also sunrises if I can get up in time.
59. I'm not a morning person.
60. I think I'm more creative after 11PM.
61. I once belonged to the online group "Garden of Friendship"
62. I dread freezing rain days in the winter.
63. I have a therapeutic spa.
64. I like to drink homemade peach wine.
65. I like to give and get hugs.
66. I've lived in the same house for 45 years.
67. I have a Himalayan cat.
68. I make a grocery list and then forget to take it to the store.
69. I have a silicone implant in my left big toe.
70. I was in a very serious car accident.
71. I have a chickadee nest in my yard with 7 eggs in it as I write this list.
72. I have a baby rabbit regularly visiting my yard and eating the new flower shoots.
73. My best loved, live, show was and is "Phantom of the Opera".
74. I loved the show and book "Tuesdays with Morrie".
75. I favor piano music.
76. I took piano lessons as a child but wouldn't practice so the piano got sold.
77. I am interested in people's life stories.
78. Peoples talents, creativity and struggles inspire me.
79. I believe in guardian angels.
80. The best book I read in 2007 was "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle.
81. I am amongst the millions who took the online course "A New Earth" with Oprah and Eckhart Tolle.
82. I like to laugh and joined a Laugh Yoga course.
83. I laugh a lot at the TV show "Funniest Home Videos".
84. I cry easily at sad movies.
85. I have lost many friends to cancer.
86. I know several awesome women fighting cancer valiantly and I admire their tenacity and strength.
87. My neighbour of 42 years sold her house and moved, I miss her.
88. Telemarketers calling at meal time annoy me.
89. I don't wear high heels anymore.
90. I've had a broken nose.
91. I've had a broken foot.
92. I drive a Honda.
93. I've been a main caregiver for an aging parent.
94. Negative people challenge me to remain non reactive and accepting.
95. I strive to stay positive.
96. I keep in contact with relatives abroad via MSN Messenger.
97. The city I live in has a "Little Lake" in the center of its down town.
98. I graduated from a 17 week HTML course recently.
99.  I am sharing computer skills with mature adults.
100. I am thinking this is more information than anyone wants to know and my list is growing.
