This page is meant to collect Y-DNA data for those with the Knowles surname and help build a useful genealogical database in that regard. The chart (above) is based on research from Oxford Ancestors. Currently, I am unsure as to how to include data from other sources (such as Family Tree DNA) in a meaningful way.

Any Knowles descendant is encouraged to contribute their Y-DNA findings. In this way, we can perhaps extend our knowledge of the Knowles lines and make some connections that we might otherwise not have found.
