Teaching English On Line

Merlot, a multi-media educational resource, may be the mother of all sites for this category. Seems to be a portal site in the sense that it is a repository of reviewed sites on all subject areas. Look for English under the Humanities.

Poets.org is a product of the Academy of American Poets and has all sorts of practical materials supporting this task - all American, of course.
