Scouting

I have been a member of the Scouting movement since I was able, September 1981 (just over 5 years old), years (Wow I didn't think it was that long). I have gone through Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers, Rovers, and currently have my Part III training as a Cub Leader and my Part I as a Rover Advisor. I was involved in the Ontario Rover Council (and Communitee) which has now changed into the Central Canada Rover Round Table. I held the position of Email Admisistrator for two years and then two years as Vice-Chair of Program.
Now I'm an advisor with the 1st University of Waterloo Rover Crew which myself and some others started back in 1996. We found that there were no crews in our area that would make a good fit with our schooling. So we decided that we'd start one. The crew has been going strong ever since, offering students away from home a means to stay active in Scouting.
