Kayaking
I sort of fell into kayaking. Thanks to my father I grew up with a love of canoeing and the water in general. In 2000 having never been in a kayak before I bought a used Wilderness Solution Sealution XL II kayak. That's 17 feet of pure touring kayak. I still have it and absolutely love taking it out for a trip. With it's length and rudder it steers like it's on rails.
In May of 2006 I purchased a (yes, used again) Jackson 4 Fun white water kayak. I didn't buy it for white water, but more for just fooling around and play boating. Don't get me wrong, I love my big boat, but I wanted one I could do eskimo rolls in and just throw in the trunk and get wet.
In the Summer of 2008 I bought an Old Town Loon tandem kayak from my uncle. Janet and I have been out in it a couple times. It definitely will stress a marriage!
