Juggling
I have been juggling for a number of years now and I started through scouting and a bit of procrastination. I had just recently joined a Venturer Company and a great deal of the members juggled, and we all know how pressure works so I bought some juggling balls and gave it a shot. Of course I stunk!
The best advice I've ever had while juggling is this. "Pick up all 3 balls and throw them into the air and let them them fall without trying to catch them. Listen to the sound they make when they hit the ground. Get used to that sound!"
It was during final exams in high school (I forget the grade) when I just didn't want to study any more that I taught myself to juggling. I put down my notes and went outside on the deck. I worked at it for a while before I finally got the hang of it. Little did I know that I started with one of the harder methods, the Double Cascade. I actually found it harder to juggle the normal way.
Now I'm reasonably proficient at it. I can do two and three ball cascades and I'm working on pins. I get a lot of fun out of it, even just picking up pine cones on a walk and juggling as I go.
