The Event

Motivational Talk

Jovan delivers a customized, emphatic presentation on the art of playing pool as a metaphor for business and personal success. He dramatizes the correlation between high level pool playing and successful planning/decision-making and focussing on the goal through strategic planning. At the core of every motivational talk is the theme of total commitment to the process.

The Game

Once the motivational talk is concluded, Jovan facilitates participation in a tournament game he created called Moxy. This fast-paced, alternate shot format is designed to reinforce the relational aspects of the event, giving all participants an opportunity to play and interact.

The tournament usually lasts from 90 minutes to 2 hours with quarterfinals, semifinals and finals. During this time, Jovan circulates throughout the Group, assisting players with tips and techniques to enhance their game as well as reinforcing the theme of the gathering.

At the completion of the Moxy Tournament, Jovan will gather everyone together to highlight the salient points of the initial talk. At this time also, prizes can be awarded to winners and the MIPs (most improved players) followed by closing remarks by the hosts of the event. When the formal portion of the event has concluded everyone is invited to play casually and socialize with their teams.
