I turn my collar up
as I step into the cold
I feel the chill of the misty air.
There is a storm that blows
into the canyons of my soul
But I know that You are holding me

I see the shadows as
they dance across the wall
They come and go like people do
So many sad goodbyes
have froze this fragile heart of mine
I know that You are holding me

And the times that pure emotion
just washes over me and
I'm swept away
lost in your embrace

And at times you are warm and tender
and I feel just as safe
as a baby in her fathers arms
So maybe tomorrow will be better than today
or maybe it will not come at all
but no matter what it brings
I will just rest in this moment
