The Tibetan Terrier Book (second edition) - Jane Reif
This is an excellent book about the Tibetan Terrier. It contains several hundred photographs, many in colour. It is difficult to find in a book store or library. Jane has been involved in TT's for a long time. She writes the Tibetan Terrier breed column in the AKC Gazette. This book has much to offer for both the novice and the experienced breeder.
Jane informed me the first printing (January 1996) sold out February 13, 1999. Currently the second printing is at a new publisher and is expected to be ready for distribution in late April or May 1999. Jane will be the exclusive agent for this book as of that time. The price will be $40 U.S. including priority postage and handling (this also applies to Canada). Overseas the price is $43 US.

Jane Reif also publishes another book called 'Reflections on the Tibetan Terrier' which is also excellent. It is a compilation of articles Jane has written over the years about the Tibetan Terrier. "An outline of the past and a look towards the future"
Both of these books are excellent resources about the Tibetan Terrier breed. The first volume may no longer be available. The first volume contains many pictures and stories of the early dogs. The second volume also contains historical information, an excellent selection of letters written by Dr. Greig (who imported the first TTs into the west) and information on health and other topics.
